If you're cutting them down, do yourself a favor and buy some thread files.

No go on the Ferarri bolts. They had to be ordered from Italy. And even then they were not available.

"Yeah, it's got a turbo, forged rods, upgraded oil pump, ferrari internals... it's basically a supercar under the hood..."

You may have only four cylinders under your hood, but you have twelve in your heart

I told him to back them all out a half turn from tight, and tune pressure from there.

Let me know what you find. If nothing else I will buy the 16mm and grind them down.
I just used a hack saw on some flange bolts from the local hardware store. People are way over thinking this.

My local hardware store didn't have anything in this size/pitch in ANY length. My hardware stores must suck.

Ace hardware, and the Do-it Best all had the proper bolts for me. several different stores of each stock them. I think even Lowes had them. Do-it Best had 10mm bolts in 1mm, 1.25mm, and 1.5mm thread pitch even.

Insanity. I couldn't find them at fastenal, or anywhere online. The only place I could find 10mm bolts wanted $30 a pop for them.

Realized you weren't talking about length
