Default This onto here... Any thoughts? (Intake mani) [YES]

I want to graft Ithis onto here. Or, at least the lower portion.

Any thoughts on this? Idea is that Honda knows wtf they are doing with air flow and the Bp I'm working on sucks, er, inhales? more than a stock motor. Also, the Honda BBTB would be sweet. I think, anyway.

So, what do ya'll think? Honda 1.6/1.8 nice Jap mani grafted to a lower work? Also, **** his 175 price, I can get one at a JY for 20 bucks or search the local ricer forum. Just for ref.

Oh, **** off.

Thanks brain. That's the same one I'm using.
I figure the B16A makes 158 hp@ 7,600 rpm, thats about right, and the Vtec heads probably flow as well or better than the BP's head, so I'm pretty sure its a good match.

Ok, well, That was fun.

**Still debating between OEM ITR, B16a mani, or Blox/Skunk 2. Doing all the welding myself. Hmph.

I'm refering to the B16A vs our 1.8BP, but yea, I'm betting you're right anyway. Hey, Mazda's 2.0l FE-DOHC series has some pretty nice flowing heads... but likely only on par with the 1.8's of honda's repertoire, from the 80's/early 90's... hmph. Yea, there's no doubting they know what the **** they are doing when it comes to fluid engineering.

Either way, I think I can snag the B16A vtec mani for about 20 bucks here locally. I'm going to probably do that and a Blox one and bring them with me to the dyno when I'm getting dialed in on the Hydra. Might as well sink another 100 or so into dyno time for fun, why not. Might nab an ITR OEM mani as well and see how that goes.

If im correct, B16A head is one of the best flowing B series heads if not the best (the type R head comes to mind) I imagine a GSR manifold will do wonders. Most guys here have been snagging up those Victor X Edelbrock manifolds for Hondas

Found a Skunk2 GSR mani for 100 bucks. ******* score. I'm still going to do a few different ones. Found an ITR one as well. Going to the local JY this week as well as a few local ricer meets. So many honda guys around here its scary.
