Smaller turbos blow hot air yes however with a big enough intercooler to bring both temps down to say atmo temp then why is there still an hp difference? Efficiency of the turbo robbing the extra power?

Intercoolers are a restriction too so you can't simply pair a big IC with a little turbo. If you have an undersized turbo working too hard (hmm, like my car?) and you oversize the intercooler to compensate, you start to lose some of the quick spool and throttle response you liked about the small turbo.

Every design's goal should be to take the coolest air possible, suck it into the turbo sized appropriately for your goals, heat that air as little as possible to the target boost so that the intercooler can be as small and free-flowing as possible to get IAT as close to ambient as possible. Sounds easy, right?

The SoCal guys have a corral of them. Emilio uses the sperm in Xida reservoirs. The new guy in the shop gets the lucky task of extracting it.

OP, ****, just read the stickies and get a ride in a turbo car.
Was drunk but have turbo car; but Sav is on to me, kinda... I think 15 psi is probably below the break stuff limit for power on my small turbo but am/was not certain given the additional stress from either pressure or heat. I am also not certain I care about this motor so I may try or I may leave it alone.
