Default radiator question

Does anyone run small halfsized radiators? I know honda's have very small radiators, but would they have enough cooling power to cool my miata 1.6l? I would like to clean up my engine bay and getting a new radiator would clean it up alot.
The only reason I ask is because of people having cooling issues with stock radiators. any input is appreciated!
thanks!

Clean up the engine bay?

Your in the wrong forum hahaha

Not that ive ever seen, youd need serious proper ducting, and that wont help clean anything up.

lol i realize this is a turbo forum, im working on that aspect right now, im trying to make the most room with the best look possible. and if i can get a halfsized radiator that will cool it properly, then an intercooler can sit next to the radiator and be protected(to a point) insted of behind a flimsy bumper.

Wow! I have never seen an engine bay like that..looks good, props to you.
And I might try it anyways,I don't see how it could hurt, especially when I can get one for $44 from napa.

This is nothing new. However, I would think I would have issues running a half rad with my a/c blasting, idling in traffic during 100 degree weather. Replacement full size radiators are so cheap now I don't see why it's necessary to try and reinvent the wheel here.

Jtothawhat runs a half rad.
