Actually the ports from what I've heard from a really reliable source is for anti-icing, from the same source, he said that the 13B 6-port rotary has those blocked from factory, thank god I don't have to deal with that.

Yeah well I've been known to be lucky from time to time. Also I've secured a set of Yellow RX8 Injectors for 100 dollars, just waiting to get them.

Right now I'm trying to figure out the fuel pressure, I'm having a hard time finding stock fuel pressures at the fuel injectors for the RX8 and what the fuel injectors flow at those pressures.

they are rated at 420cc at 43.5psi...the rest is simple math.

I bet they are run at 60psi on the motor.

What is going on in this pic? I see both velocity stacks and a turbo?

Gryffin,

If you are wanting to use the newer style Denso injectors. Let me know. We have them in 440cc and 600cc (as well as, 800cc/1000cc/1300cc).

http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/...roducts_id=240

The ones you looked up for the FC would be direct fitment Lz injectors.

Hi,

my 460cc RX7 are messured at 3bar fuel pressure with 480cc.
I had some hot start issues and changed to the RX8 450cc, because the hot start was better with the newer injectors.

The RX8 injectors are messured at 3,1bar fuell pressure with 450cc:

Was there any differences in the fuel pressures that you ran with the RX7 injectors and the RX8 injectors and did you see any differences in AFRs?

Fuel pressure was the same.
I tryed not only 460cc and 450cc... Last time i changed from 360cc to the 450cc and used the 460cc RX7 map. I can´t say, if there are big changes because i use permanent autotune with my Greddy Ultimate. If there were differences the autotune function fixed it quick.

Hmmmm, what's your over all opinion and experience between the RX7 460cc and the RX8 450cc injectors?

What was the fuel pressure you were using, do you have the number for that?

Is that a good idea, stock fuel pressures on a 1988 Mazda RX7 is around 36 psi.
