SR20DET SWAP?? needs??
hey im thinking about doing a sr20 swap on my miata!
i have no clue on what i need to do or anything, i need some advice before i bit off anything i cant chew! HELP!!

Seriously though, mate that was the WRONG first post. there is no easy conversion and no good reason to even do one.
My advice is to post back here with a well written (correct grammar) explanation of the performance you want out of your car, and THEN listen to the advice you are given.
This 'sr20 would be jdm as **** yo, especially with vtec lolzor' attitude is frowned upon here. This forum is about real performance, so again, post the performance your after then listen to the advice given.

Let's take a look back to your first post.
Hmm. You have no clue about anything, and you want advice.
Here is my advice:
1: Don't attempt to perform an engine swap on any vehicle if you have no clue about anything.
2: Don't attempt any engine swap while you are in a big hurry. If you don't even have time for punctuation and capitalization, it's unlikely you have time to do a thorough job of splicing two wiring harnesses together.
3: If you want to install a Datsun engine in something, buy a Datsun.
4: See #1.

One time my brother and I were acting up in the car on the way to Gainesville. I was really big into insects as a kid, and we were going to see the entymolgy dept. at the university of Florida. Well somewhere along I-75, I took things too far and my dad got PISSED. He pulled the car over on the side of the road and got out. I looked at my brother and knew I was in trouble. Dad came around the side and opened my door. "Since you like bugs so much, I'm gonna give you MINE," he growled as he pulled me out of the car. He had really long nasty fingernails that were almost like claws, and he literally shredded my shorts and underpants from my *** like he was peeling an onion. Then he threw me up against the car and raped the **** out of me. In the meantime, my mom pulled out her lipstick and wrote "Welcome to the world of AIDS" on the windsheild. To this day, my brother and I still laugh about it. We call it, "the day dad raped the **** out of me ." lolol

Don't listen to them - I did this swap last weekend in about 8 hours.
All you'll need is:
An engine hoist
An SR20 (prices are lower after Race Wars)
Stock Miata Tranny - will mate to SR20 motor
A wiring harness off a 2JZ-GTE
Mugen Motor Mounts from an S2000
Remove your motor first - take pictures and I'll help guide you through the install.
All you'll need is:
