I think its swinging so wildly because he is stomping the gas pedal like a maniac tweeker.
What hapens when you just hold it at 1/2 trottle.?

You’re correct you have to in order for the car to stay alive you can’t hold the pedal it’s cutting throttle after a second of holding it down and you have to lift and press it again

It ran fine for a year why would it all of a sudden need the map changed

Fix...

MAP sensor calibrated properly but reading 80 kpas higher than what it should’ve been. No sign of water dmg or anything just didn’t function right thanks all for the support
