I need to know what engine changes were made to the 1.6 uk spec mk1 in the last 3 years of production in the engine 90hp stock.
I know about the head, but what about the bottom end of the engine. I am rebuilding and want to find out if I leave the crank etc, what hp gains I will leave behind..??
So what difference is there cheers

They have a lower CR than the 116hp 1.6 motors, different pistons, cams etc. Crank and rods were not different.
