Default There. I did it. Ya happy? (pulled the mp62 off today)

After being on the fence for a little while, I've decided at the minimum to pull the supercharger. I've realized that I've had that damn thing on and off more times than I anticipated, not due to reliability, but because I can't stop tinkering with other **** that's on the hot side of the engine (brake proportioner, header, header egr nut always coming loose, power steering fluid overheating...to name a few). I also miss getting over 25mpg, regardless of horsepower. I may be putting the mp62 up for sale in the upcoming months. The car hasn't been on the street as much as it should be, and this is a step in the right direction.

Pending the timelines on other life priorities, I'll slowly start building up parts for a turbo presto-chango-switcheroo.

As it sits after today:
1.8L 135k miles
ACT HD 6 puck, 9lb XTD flywheel
JR ceramic header
550cc EV14's
Tsudo N1 exhaust (w/ accidentally gutted cat...oops)

You've already got the most important part for a reliable turbo install . . . the MS.

Drove it to work today and didn't see any notable change in the fuel gauge. So far, im happy as a clam. I think the lightweight flywheel helps keep the fun factor intact with the supercharger uninstalled.
