Default TPS wiring

Ok hear me out before you go to this link:

TPS wiring - ClubRoadster.net

I got ITBs for dirt cheap so I decided to play around with them until I can get back on my feet and fund my turbo needs once again. Trust me I definitely want to go back to FI but sometimes life doesn't go in your favor, hah.

Basically trying to wire the fujiracing TPS wires to my stock harness. I know you have a positive, negative, and signal wire I just don't know which is which. I also figured out the black/blue wire is a connector junction so I know I don't use it.

Just trying to get help, although I expect flames I hope I can still get some good advice .

I had to check this out again last week when I blindly pulled mine off during motor swap and had to reconnect them (properly) to my BMW VTPS.

RED is your positive 5 volt
BLACK is your negative, or ground
GREEN is the signal wire

Looks like a guy in your cr.net thread replied with the other (Fuji) half of the information.

Good luck.

Oh yeah he did, awesome. I responded that post before reading here, hah.

Thx!

My car will now run and continue is loudness with ITBs, 2.5" test, and 2.5" enthuza turbo muffler. It was so loud before, I can only imagine it now. I've got to do something about it lol.

OMG that's going to be ridiculous.

I've got one of the baffle style "turbo" mufflers with 2.5" offset inlet/outlet if you need to work up something temporary.

Should be much quieter than a straight thru.

Seriously, spec miatas are annoyingly loud...you're taking that up to a whole 'nother level with the ITBs...it will not even be enjoyable...and will likely get you stopped a lot, if not mobbed by your neighbors.

Hah yeah, getting pulled over is one issue. I'll have to stay off the stinky pedal. I might have to take you up on the baffle, that or maybe get a resonator or something.

Theres also a maximum dB level at my local autox location, 96 dB. I hit 97.9 dB N/A on a stock 99 manifold so....... yeah. I do know that theres a lot of variables when it comes to reading dB levels outside... wind, buildings, even humidity.

I'll figure something out after I get it started. It may not be as loud since I got my hanger flanges welded back on, lol.

Is the ground the black/blue or the black/red. I figure black/red since the black/blue is a junction connector.

****, now I'm gonna have to go home and look.

I still have it written on the dry erase board with all the motor swap steps and "don't forgets".

Well I wired the black/blue to the black on the fuji tps. Got MS up and went to calibrate TPS and the reading for closed throttle is 111 and WOT is 112 lol.

Ever check which is which Damon?
