UK Engine shipping to port question
I was hoping to find someone with experience buying an engine or used parts from the UK and had them shipped to a port to pick up.
A few of my fellow MT.netters and I are going together on a shipment of 5 engines from the UK and the option is door to door with all fees included or shipping to a local shipping port for pickup for significantly less. However the second option doesn’t include any extra broker, warehouse or duty type fees that might be charged on the receiving end.
Anyone have any experience similar that could give some idea of what those fees might total out to?

Props to you and your crew for making moves like that. Now, about those extra fees at the port. Sometimes you luck out and dodge all the extra charges, but other times, they hit you with unexpected fees that can put a dent in your wallet. If I were in your shoes, I'd do some digging to see if I could get a better idea of what those fees might add up to. Maybe hit up some forums or reach out to folks who've been down that road before. And hey, speaking of shipping, I recently used ThreeMovers for my own move, and they were clutch. So, if you're still sorting out logistics or need some help moving anything else in the future, they're definitely worth checking out.
