Default VVT with re-route gasket kit

I am re-building a VVT motor and swapping the re-route from my 96 block over. I understand that it is best to use the 99-00 head gasket for proper coolant routing. I was planning on getting a Mazda 8DN5-10-271 engine gasket set for NB2 engine, but would have to buy a separate 99-00 head gasket (BP26-10-271). Can I just get the 8DN3-10-271 engine gasket kit for the 99-00? My understanding is that all the bottom end parts and gaskets should be the same for the NB1 and NB2 engines. The exhaust manifold gasket appears to be the same, the valve cover gasket looks the same too, not sure about the intake manifold to head gasket. The intake manifold gasket is different, but is not included in this set.

Valve cover gasket is different because VVT valve cover. Don't know about any of the others but that's for sure different.

Valve cover and intake cam gear seals are different. I think the rest would be the same.

You'll need the banjo fitting washers and o-rings for the vvt related items as well.

You can get all the parts separately if you want; but the easy button is VVT kit plus 99-00 HG.

I think I will just get the 8DN5-10-271 engine gasket set for the NB2 and get a separate 99-00 OEM or Cometic head gasket. I'm sure I can sell the VVT head gasket.

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago, ordering an overhaul for a client.
I ended up getting the 8DN5-10-271 and a 99-00 HG just because my time and sanity worth more than that 60$ or so.
Though price differece on the vvt kit is really weird. Some has it at 300$ and some at 185$. I ordered one of the cheapest and should have it tomorrow, will report if legit.

I tried to price the individual gaskets that I will need and I can still get the complete VVT set for cheaper so I am just getting the complete 8DN5-10-271. Might even get a cheaper MLS head gasket.
