I have a 91 with mspnp 2 and tuner studio ms. Just wired up the tps modified it and installed. Double checked with a voltmeter and everything is functioning. Now the problem is in tunerstudio I'm unable to calibrate it when you click it only brings up a blank pop up window. Any suggestions?

 

install the correct jumper to run vtps...

 

on a MSPNP? "No internal modifications are necessary, unlike the Gen 1" from the MSPNP 2 Manual.

So where do we do this jumper?

OK update, did the jumper Brain. Shows up on the gauge now, but I still get a blank pop up window when I try and calibrate it. Is there some thing I'm missing in tunerstudio that I need to do to calibrate it??

 

so youre going to tools > calibrate TPS

and then youre getting a blank window?

what version of TS?

 

Yep just a blank white pop up window.

Something else that's different. You know when you bring down the tool menu all of them have that icon beside them. All of mine does except the tps one

I'd make sure you're on the latest TS. It's a software issue.

I'd propbably email Phil if that doesnt help.

 

Yep latest update, I sent Phil an email. Ill let you guys know what he says.

 

maybe try uninstalling java, resetting cpu, and reinstalling java, resetting cpu, and trying TS again.

 

Ok cleaned restarted latest java updated, no change. But hey didn't have the latest java. Lol. Waiting on Phil's reply

No Idea what the cause was, but for what ever reason, Used my wife's Mac and it magically worked. My tps calibration just didn't like my PC.
