Perfect, that's what I wanted to know. Just what the options are without going full custom $$$$. Seems like all the forged, low-comp pistons require an overbore, anything off the shelf that fits a standard bore?

The ones you have (1994) are 8.8:1. Close enough.

CP offers forged pistons for a stock bore down to 9:1. Total waste for your goals though.

Why do you want 8:1 pistons? Are you trying to drop compression as much as possible so you can run 87 octane?

The thought had crossed my mind, I like weird goals like that.

Also, I come from the world of small block chevies where you can get any piston, for any bore, in any CC you want off the shelf. I realize the parts availability is probably not that versatile, but I'm just curious what the options are.
