why would you think i am an idiot? Anyway, this is a turbo miata forum, and I honestly feel that doing NA mods like IRTB are a complete waste of money. They do look kinda cool and stuff but a miata wakes up from its sleep at around 200 hp and you pretty much cannot get there NA

because you didn't read the rest of the thread. Apart from being done several times, it was also outlined in this thread that ITB's can have a plenum made around them and turboed. This is also a substantial upgrade from stock intake flow.

LOL, this is why this is the only forum I will ever sponsor. That header showed gains because its probably the only one that has ever been used on a motor that actaully was prepared for N/A. If you are running a weak stock cam that has negative 720 degrees of overlap you can put the best header in the world on there and its not going to make any difference. Unfortunately most guys that go N/A wouldn't deal with a car that won't idle below 1500, and the ones that would deal with it run a T-60.

** On a side note I have several tuning books here that say if your not running 230*@.050 or better on both cams don't bother with a performance header.
