Default Injector Harness Adapters.

I have a set of BNIB 550cc RX7 Injectors.

They are not PNP, they are high impedance but they have the square (EV1, correct me if I am wrong) connectors.

We have the oval type connectors on our injectors (denso, again correct if wrong)

I could spend 17.25 x 4 + shipping to buy adapters from FM, but IMO that is WAY too much money to spend for a simple adapter.

I am not going to hack up my harness, or risk a 70k mile motor by shoving in wires/pins into terminals, I want the adapters with the proper connectors.

I have been looking around for a good deal, and have found the following:

http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_CONNECT.asp

It is the connectors on the far right. 39$ + shipping.

Are these the ones I need? Any place cheaper I can order/assemble them from? I have no issue ordering the proper pins and connectors and assembling them myself.

Thanks

I think it's the NipponDenso Male to EV1 Female that you want.. Have you tried calling them to find out of they know?

I thought I made it clear that it was Denso male -> EV1 Female, guess not.

I will call FM when I have some time and confirm. I just feel like a dick calling about a product only to gather information so I can buy it cheaper somewhere else.

I wouldn't call FM about this. Call the place you are thinking about Purchasing them from.

DSM's too, I just don't want to hack up my stock harness to splice them in, and you are not going to find male injector connectors at a junkyard.

oh right, I skimmed your post too much. For the money, really.. spliceing into the harness is no big deal, hell you dont have to even solder like I did, just use crimp connectors.

Soldering isn't an issue, I just like the fact at any point I can return completely to stock with minimal effort. If I ever chose to sell the car, I wouldn't have to explain anything.

I keep all the stuff when I replace it. The only thing I have done that can't be returned to stock is rolling the fenders, big deal.

I have spare bumpers and body pieces so I can hack up whatever I choose basically.

So, bringing this back.

My injectors are 195500-1370 , there are 2 types of these injectors, low z and high z.

Mine are the high z, which means the center keyway is offset. Should I just order the regular bosch style ev1 centered keyway connectors?

you can sand down / cut off the off-set key and an ev1 clip will work. I have never been able to source the high z clips new, nor really had a reason to have them made as they were not on many injectors... have some used around... but not new.
