Hi,

I'm building a turbo 97' miata and I'm left kinda clueless about exactly what kind of spark plugs i should use with an 8 PSI setup.
my best guess so far is the NGK bkr5eix, are they ok?
any suggestions?

well most people use colder plugs like the BKR7E factory 1.6 is BRR6E so what your talking about would be hotter

 

Stock 1.6 plugs or BKR7Es. I run BKR7Es gapped to .025 at 15psi on my 1.8 with decent results. Anything over 12psi really wants a different ignition system.

What plugs should I run on my 03?

 

BKR7Es for a car that gets driven really hard at high boost. Lower boost on a DD I would use BKR6Es if they didn't induce any knock.
