Default 1.6 manual throttle body with custom variable TPS

Found while going through a box of parts I was storing in my dad's garage! I have a complete 1.6 manual throttle body including idle valve with a mazda oem variable tps installed via a custom waterjet aluminum bracket. Very slick piece! It's ready to bolt on.

Considering it's a fully complete throttle body with idle control valve and a custom tps, I'd think $70 including paypal fees and shipping to lower 48 is a pretty good deal.

The OEM vari TPS is a 4 pin connector, where the 1.6 manual TPS is a 3 pin connector. Not a big deal, there's a ton of ways to deal with it. You still only need 3 of the 4 pins, so it's easiest to hijack the stock pigtail and crimp spade connectors on it. Another possibility could be to source the 4 pin TPS connector from an auto or 1.8 car and replace yours.

The hard part is getting the vari TPS on the manual TB, which is already done for you. What would a machine shop charge for the bracket? I'd bet more than $70.

Let me see how fucked my turbo is, I really want this though, depends on how much I have to spend on my turbo...either the kit or have someone else rebuild it.

Looks strangely familiar....

I used this during my 1.6 days.

Good luck with the sale Ben.

TPS was from either one of Paul's cars or my dad's Swift GT. I used whichever one had the idle circuit that the Link ECU needs to be happy.
