Last time i saw jack his ***** *** was getting pwned by some bioweapon. I'm still living large and driving my miata in the rain.
kick/push start.
I put the car to ON, put the car in second and put my foot on the clutch. Then i proceeded to roll the car down an incline and after I got enough speed I let off the clutch (which started the car) and off I went.
wtf is kick starting?

my friend had a beater in high school.... old first gen prelude. It didn't even have a starter ( a used one would have been worth more than the car, lol). We used to have to run on the side of it and jump in to start it any time we wanted to go somewhere. It got kinda interesting when you were parallel parked.
Then the ring came off of his flywheel and jammed in the bell housing and his car came screeching to its death.
THE END.

Mine did it twice today as well. Must be my less than stellar tuning skillz. Never died before. Idle dipped on clutch in but didn't recover from the dip. It was warm, too. One more thing to fix in my map.

I had to do this for a while when I first purchased the green car and had no money. I was hard-up for cash and my vw was dead...and after paying $1600 cash for the car, I had like -$300 in checking, lol. Rather than buy a new battery for $100, I just parked on hills or pushed by the roll bar and jumped in at speed.
I had a sentra in highshcool with a starter that never worked, even after it had been changed twice.
I got really good at pushing it around, and you know the ladies loved going for rides and getting jerked around when I popped the clutch.

I call you kick start and raise:
Last days before moving home from the US: I had already put my Miata on a ship and was driving my beater: -86 Nissan 200SX. The deal was that a good friend (who was in a bit of a bad financial state) would get the car as a gift when I boarded the plane home. And then, 48 hours before take off, the starter dies. So I parked it downhill over night in order to be able to roll-start it and then simply left it running for the complete next day. I did all the last errands a man has to do before he leaves the country, visiting friends, shopping, visiting authorities and so on. I used 2 keys and left one in the ignition (car running) and locked the car with the other. The guys at the gas station didn’t quite like me fuelling up with the car running, but it was that or help me push, so they let is slide. Parked it downhill again in the evening. Last thing I did in the US was roll-start my old beast, pick up my friend and drive to the airport. I still kind of miss that old tank of a car.
