WTF? Props was a good way top tell if a newbie was getting the message or getting spanked for being a dumbass.

And it was a way to thank those who provided good links, solid information, helpful advice, etc.

 

Props was a great way to show good and bad posters. Why is it gone?

 

<p>i find that most &quot;prop&quot; type systems dont work as they arnt governed well. people use it to get back at others, they abuse it, &nbsp;etc. not on mt.net,&nbsp;the prop system here worked so well here, i used the hell out of it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>my user cp shows a new option for enabling and disabling the &quot;like system&quot;. my guess is, that like most forums, we are going the facebook way.</p>

I thought props was hokey at first, but grew to really appreciate them. +1 to comments above.

 

That was the first thing I notices about the "updates" other than @aidandj tagging me like 6 times. I also miss the fake internet points :( For all the same reasons listed above.

Saw that. Enabled it last week, hated it, turned it off. I thought that function was outside of that editor. Oh well

I think the loud scream of anguish I heard randomly earlier this week was Vlad seeing his props disappear.

Now when we say "props" it is meaningless...meaningless!

 

Props were my only way of knowing that I was still more popular than Braineack...
