The "Because race car" saying is as much of a part of this site as the "kill it with fire" saying is. I personally don't care for either, as I wouldn't go up to someone in public and say something like "that car over there is so ugly, someone should kill it with fire". You would also never hear the word "baller" come out of my mouth. Moral of the story...

I submit that the problem with "Because race car" is that it's entirely too on-topic.

MT.net kicks *** when it comes to race car(s). Race car(s) shouldn't be denigrated with flippant internet memes.

For example, I'd imagine that if this were a forum for firefighters, the meme "Kill it with fire" might be considered to be in poor taste, but they'd have no issue with "Because race car."
