A hatecat eats a likecat and then runs away, so you end up with one fewer total cats for ever hatecat you receive. Obvious.

what would be even better was if the logic worked correctly for the negs.
it's doing something funky with the classes and turning the button into "upvote" instead of "downvote"

I find that if you click the negcat once, it gives a negative cat. Click it again, and it gives a positive cat, and a third time results in a net zero cats given.
Weird.
BUT LOVELY AND MANY PROPS AWARDED

correct. I already said this.
so the upvote button works fine
it toggles between "upvote" and "removevote"
the downvote button is messed up,
it toggles between "downvote" and "upvote" -- for some reason it's not toggling to "removevote" it only works correctly the first time you press it.
The html code has not changed since 2013 (until I added the images) so I'm unsure why it's behaving funky. I think IB did something with the PHP code that drives the toggling, but I dont have access to that.
