Hey Philip,whats the deal with all the newbies ******* digging up old post and bumping them up to the top.

 

 

Must be the limits on PM's. They need to post 10 times to PM. Maybe we should rethink this requirement? Might stop a lot of junk postings.

Could you make it so that you need a certain amount of post and must be a member for at least 2-3 months.

still don't see the reason. It's 10 posts, jump in and say hi, ask questions, do something, that's the point... get involved, don't just come here to find the info you want and then leave.

It also prevents people from PM spamming.

 

I'll buy that as good enough reason to leave it as is.

deliberatley posting bullshit to get your post count up is one of the few things that will indeed get you banned.

 

Well, usually the newbies just ******* post without searching and people freak.

So a newbie searches, finds the answer, but also has a pertinent question. Then they post, not realizing the thread is 8 years old.

Is it really that bad?

This usually works when the thread sucks..
