Sorry, Bryan. We'll sunburn a ginger in your honor.

Adding Petrolmed to the list.

Ryan, the toughest part of wakeboarding is getting up. After that it's like skateboarding on black ice. Getting up requires lots of grip strength and arm/shoulder strength. If you aren't tough enough to do it right away we'll let Sawyer show you how. :)

I am sure I'll take to it quickly. I tend to be quite good at getting up :giggle:

Steve, I imagine we can roll in and begin the sleepover fun Friday night considering some of our long distance drives? It'll be a slightly late arrival due to leaving after work, but I'd rather not make the drive early Saturday morning. When you have a better idea, let us know your schedule and what you prefer.

I am excite.

Thinking of knee boarding make my right knee throb (current tear in meniscus)... walked into shop today to find a nice big pool of black stuff under my NB. It wouldn't have survived the trip. Y'all have fun now, take plenty of pics/video... I might be glad I couldn't make it (I was gonna say come, but hey, this is MT and that could be taken literally)

Easy there, buckaroo. I feel like I need an adult because I am being taken advantage of.

There can be only one ginger. Don't make me bring the sword.

I worked Lobster Fest this year so I could have some extra spending money.

Drinks are on me :)

Edit: Yes, that is a lava lamp. That's how I roll.

The weather changes in this state frequently so it's almost pointless to rely on average weather reporting. And a lot of the typical east->west moving cells scatter by the time they get over there. There will probably be rain (since that's all it has done this summer) but hopefully it won't be much.

Hahaha, I see you decoded my true message! Unfortunately(?) I think the adults in attendance will be highly predatory in nature.

Wouldn't care, except for the possibility of the smoker being affected. Might need a tent just to protect the precious.

This is exactly why I care about the rain. If someone has a some sort of pop up tarp thing that they could bring it would be greatly appreciated.

sixshooter 08-14-2013 09:33 PM

I told pop-up tarp man to leave it at home. Now we need to put out a bulletin for a pop-up tarp to be brought to cover the smoking man.

I "found" 3 bags of burger buns, 4 boxes of triskets/crackers and some other assorted items from one of the rentals. I shall bring them for you all to feast.

Edit: Also a jar of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.

Edit 2: No lobster. Weather has been poor. :(

TorqueZombie 08-14-2013 11:59 PM

The wife will ask her catering employer for a pop up tarp. They have a couple broken ones. Going to see if we can barrow one with the intent to fix it, or not bring it back any more broken.

Have no fear, I was going to bring one just in case. :)
How big is the space we need to potentially cover? I have two canopies to choose from.

The smoker takes up a 3x3 area at most, really it is closer to 2x2 footprint. Then I have a white folding table that I put next to it to use as a prep spot and such. So I would guess a 8x8-10x10 canopy would be more then fine.
