I've noticed all the threads with swears in the titles have been editted, is it me or is that kinda weak?

Are there some young *** kids on here or something that someone is worried might be exposed to profanity??

I can't even click on a thread at work if it has the word "****" in the title.

You swearing keeps me from getting my mt.net fix.

 

If you really must ******* swear, do it inside the thread. There is no need for swearing in the titles, people use this forum at work and stuff.

 

Clicking on a thread with the word "****" in the title got this site banned by my previous employer's cybernanny software.
Since the DSL was at my house down due to tech issues on the provider's end, I was MT-less for a while.

I usually change the titles to keep people from getting in trouble. I dont ever change the posts because I dont care.

If you really lack the decency or creativity to insert a proper heading/title with respect towards others(especially with regard to work/school filters) that even a child would be safe to see it, maybe you should reconsider your thought process. Just my .02 on the subject, but I like knowing that the things I put on the internet will not further degrade society.

Once upon a time I would have not cared as much, but watching my 9 nieces and nephews grow up kind of changed the impact I might have on others.

In all seriousness, we only have a couple of rules here that actually get enforced with any regularity.

1: Don't be a douche.

2: No profanity in thread titles.

3: Really, don't be a douche.

4: No lewd / obscene avatars.

5: Seriously, no douchebaggery.

6: Threads which contain nudity / perversion / etc shall contain NWS (Not Work Safe) at the beginning of the title.

7: Complaining about rules 2, 4 or 6 makes you a douche.

34: If it exists, there is **** of it. No exceptions.
