turbo symbol, auto-editing
Hello there
A couple questions. I have noted that when I post communications oriented words like "----" and "----" and "----" and "-----" and "----------er" and "---- you" my words are replaced with a series of dashes that look like "------". Is there any way to eliminate this, such as by becoming a sponsoring member. Because it is limiting my already small vocabulary and reading the little dashes slows down my brain when I'm trying to pay attention to the post. MT.net didn't used to do this a few years ago and I don't know if I don't fit in any more, my personal style needs adjustment, or what.
Second thing is there a way to get rid of the turbo symbol at the lower left corner of my post? I'm not turbo I'm supercharged and having that little turbo down there is like having a leper hump my leg. It OK generally speaking but I don't know if I'm comfortable with it.
Thank you

What, and alienate our core audience?
It's a kitty inside a turbocharger. Do you seriously think that a site called MiataTurbo.net, which has kitties in both the smiley library and the warning & banning system, is going to let you substitute some other animal / car part combination as your user status indicator?
Also, a belated welcome aboard.

If you scroll to the very bottom of the site, there's a drop down menu with "MT 2011" and "Miata turbo old school". Select the latter for a more simplified version, that I prefer as well.
Swear words, images boarding on ****, and a few other things were getting us in trouble with Google. If google had dropped us, Rick would no longer make money and mt would take a change for the worse. So we immediately added a profanity filter and deleted our NSFW section.

I have trouble reading a lot of these ------ words. Would it still please Google if we could change them to f----- words or does that s--- still make google angry? I never know which word is hiding behind the dashes, and it could change the meaning of the sentence.
