Before this, I had been considering another radiator, but it didn’t seem to really be the problem. I looked at hood vents. I didn’t like cutting up the hood and having rain and stuff get it in. Then I finally found out why. I asked the mechanic if the fans were going the right direction. He said yes. It is an easy mistake to make. When you reach behind the fans there is air moving.
The best way to do this is to put your hands in front of the radiator and feel if the air is pushing.

It took me about most of a day to pull the dash and sort wires. My friend found 2 problems. I had connected 2 bundles incorrectly. I thought if they fit together then they must be right. Nope.

He now found another problem using the correct wiring diagram.

There was no way we could have solved the problem by crawling underneath the dash lying on our backs with a light.

I used plastic wire looming for loose wires.

Finally, the lights, wipers and directionals work!

The car has been sitting since August with no progress. The wiper, lights, and directionals weren’t working. I had to take out the entire dash again. My friend who knows how to read electrical diagrams way better than me helped sort out the problems.

One gauge needed a ground and 12 volts after the dash was in. The water temp is electric. The oil pressure and vacuum gauge are mechanical were both fine.
