What I should have done before I took apart the diff. This is my factory LSD which has the same back lash feel as what I put together so I think I'm good. This is .014" at the point and angle in the picture. It's just the free movement distance before it turns the ring gear.

1/2" all thread. The washer on the bearing I cut out of plate steel to take the force of the press.

Looks like it's a 1.5 way setup. I don't know what springs are installed. I didn't want to dig that deep.

Harmonic balancer bolt socket and impact. Thankfully the bolts were centered in the holes and the threads didn't get damaged during removal.

Harbor Freight stuff. I had to use 1/2" all thread, drill out the holes to fit. The hardware that came with the kit was too short. This bearing wasn't too bad to remove.

Clearance was a problem here. I'm guessing there is a special two jaw puller that would have been better on these bearings.
