The black outlines on each texture. AKA the cartoony lines.

Saw a vid of a graphics mod few days ago that removes that and gives you natural textures.

 

I think he means the black outlines on the items in the game. All the items have a heavy black border.

 

Vid added. Hmm it appears that nothing needs to be downloaded, just a simple change in the graphics settings text file.

 

Oh interesting. I'd try it if i wasn't on a PS3.

Update: As of last night, between my health and shield, i've broken the 55,000 hit point mark.

Tried playing it earlier before i went to bed. Kept giving me server is busy error.

Played with Splitime for a bit but he's 20 levels too high for me...

 

Yah, makes for easy XP though :P.

I think lower level playing with higher level makes more sense... you'll die a lot but gain big XP compared to the reverse.

I had Borderlands 1 on ps3, much happier on PC now.

 

Blah. I don't have room for a PC at the moment. 1 bedroom apartment poverty life.

 

A year or two ago I would of called you an idiot.

But judging from what I've heard, if you stick with the PlayStation consoles, and the rest of us stick with Xbox, we're the idiots now.

 

Free to play weekend is up on steam. If your system can run it give this game a try.

 

New Borderlands comes out next December...

The early reviews say it's basically a huge DLC (it uses the same engine as BL2 so don't expect newer and better graphics). Seems like it will be a completely new story with some extra features though.

I've been OP8 with 2 characters for a while now with BL2, so I'm looking forward to something new. I love this game.

 

Sounds like i have tons of time to go ahead and finish cleaning up BL2. Haven't played in awhile. I want to play again.

 

I found it extremely boring game. That garbage respawn rate of the npcs ruined it for me.

 

I'm excited for this, had a friend who went to Pax East last weekend and they were handing out free pre-order codes.
