I tried B.O. this weekend and hated it. Glad I didn't buy it. Not sure how you guys that have played MW2 can stand it, the online play is soooo much worse. The gameplay just feels awful to me, the graphics are pretty bad too.

Absolutely hated it...

 

It looks identical and plays identical to me....

 

It's better in pretty much everyway. I'm guessing the people that are bitching quickscope and dropshot..

Yup, seems pretty similar to MW2 to me too. Definitely no complaints.

I used to agree with that statement when I built my own machines and had the money to do so. But now I prefer a console because I can buy the game and I know it will work with the system. This as opposed to buying the game and upgrading PC parts because what I bought 5 months ago is outdated and too slow. lol I know that's on the sarcastic side, but 2 games I used to really enjoy on the PC kept requiring better and newer hardware with each version release and I just got tired of upgrading.

 

Playing a little here and there I've reached level 26.

I still really like just about everything this game has. I mean really, the only thing that I don't like is the narration, particularly Ice cube/T's voice. "Spy plan imbound" over and over makes me insane! I wish there was a way to turn that **** the **** off!

 

I don't quickscope, dropshot, nube tube, camp or any of that stuff. I'm playing on PS3 so maybe it's not as bad on the computer. The online gameplay is not nearly as smooth as MW2, the game is just choppy and seems cheesy in comparison. Not my internet either because I threw MW2 in right afterwards to compare...

IMHO the game is worse in everyway, I can't find a single thing that I like better...

 

The PC version is still undergoing major work. I have an i7 at 3.2ghz and am oftentimes at 70% + cpu usage. The game runs great at full graphics and 1080P with my HD5830, but struggles on my other brother's rig with a 2.5ghz Core 2 Duo at medium graphics.


I have an affinity for killing teammates on HC mode.

 

MW2 was exactly the same way before they patched is a bunch of times right after it came out. Give it a month.

 

The improvement from release and 24 hours - 48 hours and now has been insane. If they keep up with the patches this game will be flawless in a week or two.

 

What's the hardened version all about? I did not pre-order, and am a 1st prestige player in MW2 (yea I don't play PS3 often at all, only have 2 games actually lol) but I am giving into the hype, but don't want to miss anything if I buy the regular version. I also liked **** Zombies from WAW, which is part of the reason I want Black Ops...

EDIT: 4 extra playable co-op maps... is that like an expansion pack for MW2?

 

No clue about the hardened thing, I just bought regular so I could make noobs like FRT cry for his mommy.

Psh it was fairly even.

 

The hardened version comes with the 4 old zombie maps, in addition to the new ones. I got it cause I thought it came with the zombie maps, vs. the regular version that didn't come with any. That isn't the case though.

It comes with a medal and screen print too, but not like that's worth anything. If I had it to do over I would have just got the regular version.
