It's on the battle.net app. Super simple, a child could figure it out.
I'm not sure if just adding the number is sufficient, i assume it is.

As far as i can tell you can do things with 1 up to 3 people and raids with 3 to 6 people. I'm not sure a clan is necessary. Though i'm only 13 right now. Gonna try to grind all day today.

Done. Did it through the Battle dot net app. The friend adding requires both Battletag & #0000. I hit 19 last night, pushing a bunch of adventures and community events. Hoping to be on tonight if I don't have to binge Stranger Things with the gf. If not, I'll for sure be on for a chunk of tomorrow.

Okay, well i just beat the final boss at level 18 lol. It promoted me straight to 20. Looks like now is where the game actually starts.

We were just trying to figure that out. We can't seem to do our nightfall quest because we can't sync up our powers.

It's amazing we've gotten this far, i know i certainly have no idea what i'm doing.

What part of the Nightfall are you having a problem with?

Man, you're killing it compared to me. I think I finally broke 260 last night. Still trying to understand gear and all that it does and what subclasses they work with. Still cycling through the gear I'm finding but have a couple pieces I've been sticking with a leveling up.

Well for one we keep starting with 10 minutes instead of 20. So we need to figure that out. I guess it's some type of modifier we need to get. Then we just have to focus on melting the boss at the end. We always run out of time.

Recovery is key. Mobility doesn't matter. In this game, all it means is how high your vertical jump is. The lowest possible is enough for any obstacle in the game.

The gear mods that offer buffs to specific ability cooldowns (rather than just saying abilities in general) are most effective. Dismantle any gear mods that buff gun handling and the like. Abilities are most important, and handling buffs even less important on PC where you guys have actual control because mouse and keyboard.

Most gear exotics are pretty noticeably keyed to a specific subclass. You'll probably end up with a couple of them that you really like to use, and will swap them out when subclasses.

I main a titan at the moment, and i swap between whatever helmet that is that Erat is using (i forget, haven't played in a couple weeks, game got stale) and Sentinel subclass, with all the gear modded for maximum void ability cooldown for PvE stuff, and for PvP i run Striker with another set of gear modded for maximum striker ability, and Dunemarcher legs, because i'm the scum of the earth and prefer to run around like a crackhead and spam double pulse grenades everywhere instead of trying to play Teamshot: The Game.

I haven't done it this week, it's probably the rings thing. Each ring you jump through gives you 30 seconds.

Thanks for the info! I'm using a hunter so some of that doesn't necessarily apply, but helps nonetheless. I'm finally starting to pick up some of the gear I've seen recommended so its starting to make more sense in game.

Managed to complete the raid today. It honestly took us about 4 hours with a couple bathroom and beer breaks. We had 2 new guys(me) and one guy who had done it twice. It's really not very hard. Once everyone knows what they have to do it's pretty simple. I started the raid at 284 power and jumped to 290. I managed to get a level 305 chest plate out of the deal. Everything else was meh.

I'm off all this week and would like to get involved in that!. Between working on the car and other house stuff I'd like to try and get a raid done. At 292 currently I think that might be enough to get me to the cap.

It's a ton of fun. But you really need to be dedicated. A good microphone and headset is a must. We all paired up and used discord instead of In game chat, it's far better. We had 3 other guys who were fantastic at explaining the mechanics and positioning people. Honestly, we wiped more times due to funny glitches and simple mistakes instead of just being over run.

I have 3 characters 298-303, looking for people to run the raid with. Me and my buddy have been running the nightfalls as a duo and I just started doing nightfall stuff solo on my hunter, but really wanna get into that raid - never got to in the first game.

Erat, I have a decent headset that was given to me. Razer Kraken 7.1 I think it is. I think getting the timing right for me in a group would be the hard part other than that I'd say im dedicated enough.

Besus, I'm in for a Nightfall (I tried to solo the Arms Dealer Nightfall and it did not go so well...lol) or Raid. those are the only milestones I've yet to be able to accomplish week by week. I'm crustafur#1774 on battle dot net.

I should be good to join anyone tonight once the game is back up from maintenance.
