I am still in act 2. I did not get a chance to play any last night. Was out at the movies with friends. Hopefully I get a ton of time in the game this weekend.

Halfway through A3 now, (my buddy has an unending urge to explore every crack and crevice in the game...it's starting to drive me nuts) lvl 27, TBH, I've probably spent about half of my time buying/selling crap on the AH - half the time I make money, half the time I lose money, but I've generally been trending upward, I guess it's just in my blood.

How does this one stack up so far against DII? Anyone encountered any bugs? Just minor stuff, or CtD, corrupted saves or other major headaches?

D1 and D2 continuity/lore got raped. You can tell it's not the original team lore-wise, big time.

No save problems.

Serious login problems for the first two days, after that, it was fine.

No major bugs encountered other than said login problems.

Well one of my friends is done with hell and going inferno now. I switched from my barb to my monk so both are at lvl 44, barb is act II nightmare still and monk is halfway though act III nightmare. Work most of the day tomorrow but plan to be on to hell by monday night.

Just finished nightmare today, In hell now, and OMG it's.....hell...an elite spawn is a PITA - a hard elite spawn is...well, you might as well go back to nightmare

P.S. - the Diablo fight in nightmare was pretty rough for us - we probably wiped half a dozen times in the shadow phase. Finally hit a "perfect" round, battle-rezzed my tank buddy 3 or 4 times, and cooldowns came just in the nick of time about a dozen times.

Thank god for the AH - took my DPS from 2900 to 7100 for about 40k gold. Hopefully that should make a bit of a difference when my tank buddy gets back on and we go at hell again.

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to inferno lol. I've been grinding azmodan runs, hit 54 but all my other friends I play with are already 60. The gear difference between NM and Hell is pretty steep.

I have been sc2ing all day. Once I hit top 8 in my ladder I will switch back to d3. I am still somewhere in act 2 on normal I think.

I'm also in Act II Normal. Just don't have much time. My little bro is in Act II or III on Nightmare.

Normal is stupid easy, especially if you buy stuff of the AH. My monk just runs through pwning all. Glad to know that is going to go away in Nightmare mode...

Ran my monk through nightmare in a day pretty easily. Once you have spec abilities and good passives like the one with everything its a breeze. Almost through act I on hell and its still pretty easy as long as you know mechanics of mobs and have a good rotation. My advice for when you start nightmare is pick up weapons first on the AH. I got lucky and snagged my for dirt cheap but it makes a world of a difference. Did the same thing when I hit 52 and skele king was cake on hell mode. Not looking forward to going complete defensive for inferno but whatever works I guess

I feel the difficulty ramps up pretty nicely in Nightmare, normal was a walk in the park.

Well my friends I was playing with at all 60 and in inferno. I can make hell azmodan runs, but I can't join them at lvl 55, not sure why maybe I'm not in the lvl requirement for that quest. Getting from 54 to 55 was slow in A1 in public games too :

I'm also irritated what bosses hardly ever drop rares. Seems like the only point of doing a hard boss is just to move on, no phat lootz.

I ended up dying a few times in Nightmare mode, end of A3. There's a surprising and sudden jump in difficulty from early to mid A3 to late A3.

So far, D3 is scratching an itch that badly needed to be scratched.

Oh yeah guys, Brainy says D3 is super-easy, D3 takes no skill, he has a level 60 in Hell, and we're all bad for having any difficulty with it.

I need to figure out how the auction house works. I briefly looked around and everything was going for way more gold then I have. Like 350k gold for an item or some ----.
