I'm checking out the Hondas right now for this Sunday's race!

So the car list for Honda Challenge H1 thus far is:

The tunes have ranged from A563-A580 1900-2600lbs 230-330hp, I've done most of these cars and ran them on Infineon Long. They all turned a 1:43-1:44 untuned. I did put a 225mm limit so the S2000 is a hand-full, lol.

Since "hybrids" are allowed, I can put up a D-series and B-series tune for the older cars. Different weight and power basically.

 

All my experiments are comin out around 54X, what am I missing? Horsepower cap at 225?

 

Tire width capped at 225. All the cars have 260+hp.

 

So where do we get the build specs?

 

I'll put them up tonight, still working out a few kinks. It's not done 100% to the HC rules, but if they were some of the cars wouldn't be competitive.

Infineon isn't the definite track either.

 

We should incorporate a pit stop, that would be fun and interesting.

This week we will be doing a Honda Challenge series. I've done the tunes based off the rules as best as I could. I had to go past a few rules to keep a few cars more competitive, though. I turned all of them on Infineon within a second of each other, un-tuned. The cars have their advantages and disadvantages and should make for an interesting race.

We will be doing our standard 10 lap qualifying, ghosted cars, lobby set up by best time. Grid order will be slowest qualifying times in the front, fastest qualifying times in the back, so reverse of how the lobby will be displayed after the 10-lap qualifier.

This will be a 21 lap race, rolling start. The first lap will be the pace lap and to get in grid order. We will be doing a MANDATORY pit between laps 9-12. If you don't pit you will be disqualified!!

This should be a fun race and I think we should do Honda Challenge vs American Iron sometime soon .

Cool. I have been fiddling with these, drinkin some green beer. There are 2 or 3 that run faster than the rest for me. Seems like torque and front weight % is playing a big part in my times.

Yeah, that kind of sucks, but if it's too far spaced for you, try a different car. I know the '02 TSX has a fairly close ratio box.
