PS2 beta needs more and better updates.

I've been in the beta for a while now, and nothing has changed. It's getting annoying.

 

I will be your fwiend. All my friends play Draw Something and that game sucks. I want to play Words with Friends.

It appears that black prophecy is going down. I'm guessing because of low player base. Anyhow its being replaced by a new project called the black prophecy: nexus and conflict that is now into closed beta.

World of Tanks 8.0 is here.

For the guys that dont follow it,.. new physics and graphics engines. In other words falling tanks, jumping tanks, better graphics, etc.

+1 on Firefall. E02k hooked me up with a beta invite. I haven't had much time to play it a ton or anything, but when i have played it it's a blast. Reminds me of borderlands the way you quest and it's open world, but then its a MMO and theres a ton of people, and there's crazy pvp battle maps too.

Neat. ALSO get on planetside 2 guys, the battles in that game are so epic scale.

I've been grinding the hell out of XP to spend on hardware upgrades and I've found a couple of spots that are super isolated the the bug things can't get to when thumping. Now I'm hoarding materials

Where/when are these giant PVP battles that you speak of?

 

The pvp battles you have to queue for right now, I was reading SOMEWHERE that they have open world pvp planned in the future, but for now you have to queue to pvp at the home base place.

 

Woot world of tanks is the MMO of the year.

BF1942 was awesome. Way better than BF2 or BF3.

 

Downside, you have to download Origin, EAs version of Steam.

What do you guys use for voice chat? I was running a private/local Vent server for a while but I tire of its bullshit. Any other suggestions?

 

I run a TS3 server for my group. It's great.

 

I used to use Vent but recently I've been using Skype for gaming. The only down side is there's no push-to-talk. I'm definitely interested in a Firefall/TF2 group.

 

There IS push to talk in skype but you gotta configure it and its kinda shitty.

Go to tools, options, then advanced, Hot keys, check enable keyboard shortcuts, check toggle mute and choose a key. Now here is the fucked up thing about it. it "opposites" whatever it is. In other words if your skype is set to normal (not mute) when you press the key it will mute it. If your skype is set to mute, when you press the key it will unmute your microphone. In other words always mute your mic via the mute button on skype so when you press the push to talk button it will "unmute it" while you hold down the key and u can moan to your buddies ears. Sometimes it glitches and the push to talk does not work. In that case you have to go to options, hotkeys and highlight the toggle thing to "remind" skype its suppose to work. Not kidding btw.
