P8249 single card

Also on the psu fan. Mine is spinning so slow you can't feel the air flow till it starts heating up and speeding up but I have never had it get hot enough to do anything other then idle.

my single was P8664, so you're not too far off from the 670. I had a 660ti but unfortunately i was one of the unlucky impatient few that got a bad batch of cards; it kept locking up on stock clock. So impatient me RMAed it and spent an extra 40 bucks for the 670, the only gain really is the 256bit 2gb vs. 198bit for when its time for those nerdy lan parties and I run it on my 60" LCD tv.

Sometimes I wish I was a little bit more patient with Zotac to get the AMP! series, I love those cards. But I really love my evga, i might not switch back to Zotac.

What are you guys' monitor setups? I'm looking at doing 2x 2560x1440 and wondering if I'll need to finally upgrade my GTX470.

What frame per sec do you get maxed out @1920x1080 on FC3 with the 660TIs?

No vsync or frame buffer I'm 55+ in wide open spaces.

Vsync 1 frame and buffer 2 is 50+ in wide open spaces.

Haven't turned on any turbo/auto oc stuff yet.

That's it? I was getting 60+ with my setup. Plus my cards were both below 160F.

DX9. for some reason DX11 isn't working properly.

Hmm, that's interesting. I think DX11 doesn't work because i have the black box of the game.

Edit* you have GW2 right? How's your setup running in that? Mine seems to be just about the same, if not a little worse than before. Plus it seems as my hardware is just not working very hard at all. I am still running on my old 4gb of ram, that could be it.

Haven't played GW2 in weeks. Think I played 2 weeks and felt robbed.

Hmm, weird. What about PS2, that's a pretty heavy game for bandwith. It really taxes the CPU. In populated areas i would see low FPS, but with the overclock you have i'm interested in seeing how good it does.

Haven't had time for PS2.

Also for some reason I get better frames over dvi then hbmi. Going to have to look into this more, no clue why and makes not sense why it would do that.

I have $90 in my paypal balance. I need Memory. DDR3 1333/1066/2000(OC)mhz, 8-16gb. Kinda don't want a fan on them, that's kinda dumb, but what the hell.

Newegg.com - ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

My motherboard for reference.

What do i get?
