My brain doesn't work fast enough to play that game well. It's still fun though. Been thinking about getting back into it.

 

It's taken me 3 years to just get "good" at it. its crazy the difference in how i play compared to when i first started. It's not like 4v4 is any testament to how well i play; I'm sure I can make diamond 1v1, but never have, I always stop playing 1v1 and just like doing teams.

 

I just picked up HoS. When I beat the campaign, I'll start playing online again. You guys hangout in the MT vent server?

When I played before (about 1.5 years ago), I never had a consistent enough team to really develope. Most of my rankings were gold/silver with random people I met in pugs. Need that feedback!

Been playing a bit more. Now more as Protoss than Zerg. Anyone else having problems with 4v4 victories resulting in a everyone timing out and then a forced surrender? Really obnoxious.

Blizz is aware of it. Happens with more than 5 of the same race are in a prolonged game. Killing my ladder though! (Lol, Bronze).

Still not sure how to find you guys in game.

I really need to get back into it so I don't feel bad when I play with lars and scott. I understand the strategies, just micro is horrrrrrrrrrrible.

 

Yeah, I know what you mean. I see a big battle and I lose focus on the individual units. It turns into "my guys" and "his guys". I glaze over and start moving the whole group rather than sub groups or individuals.

Just starting to get comfortable casting SOME abilities and cycling through the different units in a control group... i.e. sentries and stalkers (walling with sentries, tab to stalkers...blink, back to sentries).

Then there's the whole mouse control issue. I feel like Barney ******* Fife trying to do things when **** gets real in a game.

Whats with this leveling now? I dont remember that being there. I got raped in a 2v2 and earned a little XP, so now there is a little 2 by my picture, whatever that means.
