Default 01+ side sills on a 99??

http://www.gomiata.com/genmazsidsil.html
I want these side sills for my 99 but they say the top pictured ones (which look way awesomer) only fit the 01-up. What is the difference? I thought the NB is the same body from 99-04?

Yep, they are certainly confused in their for sale listing. Proof just in case you want to see those on a 99-00:

Generally the same, but some mounting points are different. I'm running the 2001+ side skirts on my 99.

i dont really have good pictures. If you have the stock sills, im not sure if they will bolt right onto them, but for my car, i had to drill the underside near the door for holes to mount at the bottom. At the top, i mounted it only with 3M tape, and its not holding very much.

The rear side near the rear wheel is missing the "stock" points where the 2003 mounts, so youre going to have to drill holes on the rear ender well to make it hold up properly. I have yet to do that, so sometimes you see my side skirts flapping in the wind. The rear side is only being held up by the screws and 3M tape. THe fronts "bolt" to the stock front fenders, using the plastic screw tabs.

The hole on the bottom of th erocker are the same between the large and small skirts. But if your car has never had skirts, then it doesn't matter. The other difference between the 99 and 01 skirts is the bracket that gets mounted to the side of the rocker panel.

thirdgen- You'll be fine, don't let the year designation bother you. I've switched from small to large on two cars and neither has been a problem.

Save yourself a bunch of scratch and order them from Chrysler-W on ebay. Small emerald green mica are $155 shipped. He has tons of them in stock. If he has large ones ( I didn't see any in his store), they are $175 shipped. New OEM parts. You need to call him if you want to ask about green large sills. 951 533-69 one one. His name is Greg. I bought a full set of flaps, large side sills, spoiler from him. He cut me an even better deal because I took an overstocked set (dark blue) as I was painting them anyway. IIRC, another 20% off.
