Default '04 MSM in my Garage today

A local buddy stopped by and we painted his calipers red... and tried to mod his foglights so the dash switch isn't stupid, but epic fail.

Autocross tomorrow! I'll take pics.

why would you want your stock dinky brakes to stick out more....?

i guess it looks alright on a msm, it kinda looks like it belongs
but on one of the na miatas, like a 90-95,, i think it looks tacky, almost ricerish

*edit*
i just noticed that you put the msm up on jack stands,
but love your car soo much that you put towels on the stands lol

its kind of a good idea

The little towels are just to distribute the load a little more across the frame rails. On my car, they're all bent to **** from the dozens of times I've jacked in the same places. Cars I care about get the towel treatement.

And this is a buddy's car... mine are painted black. I agree though that all the other red highlights on the car make the brake painting on an MSM appropriate.

I love the looks of freshly painted calipers. I just hate how crappy looking they get after a while. Anyone here ever have them powder coated?

I've been thinking of powder coating mine black to match the car... I don't want them to stick out, I just want them to look cleaner.
