Default '07 NC keyfob battery lasts 1 day

2007 NC 6speed PRHT GT 115K miles, I just baught from a Mazda dealership and both!! of the keyfobs keep dying. The car has been great otherwise. No CEL's, etc I'll change the battery and get one day before it kills it. Lol how! It's odd that it's both of them acting the same. They run on the CA2025 style batteries. It's the flat almost creditcard like shaped keyfob.

Anyone else experience this or heard of this before? I'm guessing they got wet and that did something causing a big gain of resistance and they only function when the battery is brand new 100% lol ugh
.. I should add that they work great when a new battery is in.. it's just it only lasts like one day or a handful of uses within one day lol

Check the battery voltage before inserting it into the card, then check it again after a couple of days after, where it no longer works.

What if the brand new battery volts are low right after one day (would there be another step to fix it)?

What if they're not? I honestly think the issue is it's either that the batteries only work when they're max charged or it kills them that fast. I'm going to get my multimeter from work tomorrow.
