Will a 1.8 na harness work on a 1.6 na motor
My 1990 miata with a built 1.6 recently burned down, the whole drivetrain had no damage since the interior is what burned. I have found a good deal on a 1995 miata with a blown motor but I want to put my 1.6 in it since I just built it and put so much work into it. My question is if anyone knows if I could use the stock 1.8 harness or if I’m better off finding a 1990-1993 miata to swap my drivetrain into.
A 1.8 engine harness is going to be vastly different than your 1.6's harness.
That being said, you should be able to find a 1.6 harness online for only a few hundred bucks

You’d be surprised. Finding good condition harnesses from a 30 year old car proved difficult, from recent experience.
is this on an aftermarket ECU? If so, it would be even better, with sequential injection already wired. But
would need a new ecu for the newer car in most cases.
it’d be about the same amount of work as putting a 1.8 in a 1.6, but backwards.
