Default 1.8 CAS cover gasket

Took the cover off of my 1.8 CAS last night so that I could clean off some surface rust and the paint marker(Bought from a recycler). When I lifted the round cover off the seal/gasket/o-ring disintegrated.

I am looking for a replacement but I haven't come across anything, does anyone have a source or recommended substitute?

Any reason not to just use a little RTV silicone?

Other than being overly ----, no.

Probably will end up doing that, was hoping to find a more oem like solution.

It's not like the thing is under pressure, immersed in water, etc.
