Default 1/(Power To Weight) Chart

I wrote this up to get an idea where I was at, which I thought to share.
The chart goes from 100 to 400 hp and from 1400 to 2400 LBS

I assume you accidentally made a weight to power chart.. You need to reverse the formula.

power to weight is not everything
sure my car has higher power to weight than a Viper ACR but it doesn't get any traction, so you can't compare.

It does blow my mind that a 2200lb miata with fat 200lb driver making 400whp has same power to weight as a 430lb superbike with 200lb rider making 105whp (i.e. typical 600cc superbike)

That why as I said above that its to give an Idea and is not a exact science.

Aside from that, it only goes up to 2400 lbs. My car weighs 2510 with me sitting in it.

That was weighed on the scale at maple grove dragway. My trunk has the spare tire in it and that's it.

(2,350 lb) Plus your heavy *** turbo setup 150lbs and all the associated bullshit along with it. Then your 180lb *** inside of it. Plus you figure a full tank of fuel. 7.5lbs per gallon 90lbs. Minus the AC 100lbs or thereabout.

All conservative roundabout i'm drunk numbers.

2670lbs or... Heavy as ****...

The scales lie.

That's a cool chart, but it's 2013 and everyone carries a smartphone. Type the weight of your car divided by your hp into google and it will give you your power to weight.
