1999 No Crank No Start
Hello all,
I recently had an issue with my clutch and replaced the master and slave clutch cylinder. Everything was fine for a few days with the exception of it did not crank once before i took the key out and tried it again, then it fired right up.
Flash forward to yesterday and I get nothing when I turn the key, no crank no click, nothing. It acted like when you try to start it without pushing down the clutch. I pushed started it and drove home without issue. After getting home, i was able to shut it off and back on again about three times.
I decided to start by overriding the clutch sensor using a short wire with two spade connectors. It cranked exactly once, and then nothing. I connected the clutch sensor back together and got nothing again.
Since then, I've tried overriding it with a different clip and a different wire. I checked all the fuses and they all seemed fine. (I do not have the 10A st.sig fuse under the dashboard, but I believe that's not relevant). I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to no avail.
The car is running off MS3.
Any suggestions? What should I try next?
Thanks in advance
