I have zero plans to do anything like that. There are people that have 3D printed molds for composite panels to be made from, but I personally do not trust plastic 3D printed parts on their own for a wide variety of reasons.
I would like to know why that file is important - I’m not thrilled with the Subaru DBW pedal I set up in my K swap. I have a BMW floor-mount pedal I bought for $20 off eBay that I want to try out, eventually.
As nerdy as I am, I’m the type to hold a part up to the car, make some sharpie marks, and go from there.
Any chance you have an NA headlight cover you can scan? I want to make some blanking plates and I’d like to do a little better than tracing onto paper and winging it from there.

This is just my subjective opinion after looking at a wide variety of DBW pedals, but the nice part on this pedal is how close you can get it to fit in the OEM Miata position. Ryan walks through a bit of that in this thread linked below. It's entirely possible that other pedals could fit and work the same, but I've not spent hours looking through OEM parts catalogs. https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-pe...4/#post1327003

I've done both. Each has their pros/cons, but I have my own reasoning as to why I scanned this pedal this time.

I have an NA8 in the garage and can get this relatively quickly. I'll add it to my list.
Sorry @Padlock , I think my post may have come across in the wrong tone; I'm definitely interested in seeing what comes out of your scan, not crapping on your approach. I bought the BMW pedal because it was cheap and floor-mounted. My Subaru pedal just doesn't seem to line up right for heel-toe and I was thinking that it might be easier to get that right if I'm moving the pedal around on the quasi-flat plane of the floor, rather than the mess that is the firewall.
Having re-read Ryan's thread for the first time in a long time... yeah, I should probably just go Camaro pedal.

Zero offense taken. Just was explaining my nerdy approach knowing that there are probably 20 other pedal combos out there that could work with varying degrees of success and effort.
I don't know there is much strong value here for this one unless you're a V8 miata member scrolling past this, but I had this LS3 intake manifold for my build laying around and scanned it. https://leftlanedesigns.net/products...sembly-3d-scan
Any chance you could get a scan of the interior of the front lower bumper "tupperware"? Mostly interested in the vent area below the foglight.
You do amazing work!
I've tried to get this one actually, but found that the tupperware lip on its own is too flexible, which creates some issues as you move it and the whole thing contorts/twists to different geometry. I have not had a car available to scan with the lip rigidly mounted to the car, but will definitely grab that when I have the chance.
