Having a wheel hop issue and this looks like it will brace the rear.

IMO that would work 10 times better at killing wheel hop if it fit your car. That one in your pic doesn't stop the front of the diff from jumping up and down while you wheel hop, it just keeps it from twisting, which is not a problem. Sure, it probably makes it a little stiffer, but could be much better.

What it needs is two pieces of box tubing tying the frame rails to the sub frame, then brace the diff off of that. On a RX-7, they have the front of the diff going to the frame rails. That's what it needs. I plan to make my own brace one day.

I'm all for having a through discussion on how to kill wheel hop.

Only made for "Beatrush Rear PPF Performance Bar for 06-08".

So what do you think that would work better, looks like the one I posted also supports itself to the front.

The one you posted does hold the front, but when the front of the diff moves up and down, your brace does almost nothing to stop it. Course, if the front of the diff were trying to move side to side, that brace would be ideal. However, that dosn't happen. The one you posted is basically flemsy. It's just gonna bend when the diff jumps up and down.

Now if there was something more like what I posted, it would be much more rigid and keep the front of the diff from moving around.

Well finally got it in after a two month wait and than two more months sitting on my couch (ouch). Took longer to jack up the car than it did to install the thing and I'm impressed!

I can now do standing smoky burnouts all through 1st hear with little to no wheel hop. It also has made mu daily parking lot ******** much more predictable. Before I could not even do a really hard launch with out wheel how stopping me. If you look at the burnout marks you can till see there is some hoping hopping but nothing close to what it was. For $100 bucks this thing works! Track rental on the 26th and well see if I can better the sad sad 60fts of last time.

If you still get wheel hop at the track, try making a pass without the rear sway bar.

Pat, what is that? It sure looks awesome, not heavy.

Although I'm a fan of whatever works... But I think twisting is FAR and away the worst thing you're going to see. Torque is something you expect to see.... All around movement you'd think would be a bit lower...
