i have recently purchased the magnaflow catback system for my 91 BRG and before i install it, i have a couple question.......... Does anybody have this system in which they have cut out the resonator and does it sound any better? Just thought i would ask before i install it.

 

my friend has one, sounds deicent. alittle on the raspy side. I have no clue about the resonater tho.

 

I would not cut out the resonator. I think they sound better with it in place. I'm planing on building a custom magnaflow exhaust for my 99 one day and it will probably have two perallel resonators to cut down the volume and smooth out the sound.
