Default 94/95 motor in a 97

i seem to be having trouble finding a 96/97 motor but i was wondering what i would need to use a 94/95 motor?

i am turboed and i know the oil feed is diffrent but is there anything else?
is there anything reason not to use a 94/95 motor?

thanks

If you want to keep the 97 wiring harness/ecu, you'll need to figure out what to do with the the crank position sensor. Also you will have to put the 97 CAS onto the earlier head, as far as I know. That may be the extent of it.
