AC fan coming on with thermostat but not main fan
So I moved to a very hot climate seeing regular temps from 105-118F in the summer, I wired up my fans in parallel and neither one was coming on with the thermostat setting or with AC activation. (both come on when jumping gnd to tfa).
I returned the wiring to where it was and when my coolant temp reaches my set point in TS the AC fan comes on but not the drivers side fan, the AC fan also comes on when the AC is turned on while the drivers side fan sits there. Jumping the gnd and tfa causes both fans to spin.
I'm thinking of splicing into the positive wire on the AC fan side and running the parallel wiring the opposite of how its traditionally done but kind of curious what the underlying problem is here and where I should start. I do have working AC and plan to keep it. Thanks.
