I may to may not be flamed for such a request.

Before anything, I did a search for AFR or for adjustable fuel pressure regulator and did not get too much info.


What are your recommendations on AFR? Have heard good and bad things from AEM, Aeromotive, etc. The engine will be at 15-18 psi, 550cc, walbro 255, etc.

I found a bunch of junk info in regards to builds, possible setups and returnless "pretty" drawings.

No such thing that cover in detail what is member's recommendations, feedback, etc. on adjustable fuel pressure regulators. I got some on the lookout, but wanted to see what others say.

I'm a big fan of my Fuelabs FPR. Cheaper than the Aeromotive, smaller, better pressure range, and uses cheaper adapter fittings. Fully E85 compatible as well.

 

Some guy recommended the Aeromotive, if I remember, its the 6000-a or something like that.

I saw a company that looks a lot like Aeromotive regulators, but cannot remember the name. He stated the quality is the same as Aero and run much cheaper (and no it is not a ebay one).

I know there are many, just wanted to see the pros and cons, or simply feedback of the ones others have used.

 

I have used the Vortechs on many installations. Very reliable and consistent, as well as cheap and available used all the time.

I prefer to use the typical nipple fitting compared to the thread design where one has to use braided lines.

Did some search and found a Holley and Mallory design. DSMtuners say good things about fuelabs regs.
