The turbo is a GTK450, Last I heard he was running something ~20ish psi.

Very nish! Can't find a map for that turbo but it looks big and damn it's expensive. Makes the GT30 look cheap!

I'm not sure how I missed this thread...

I don't know if I can handle having the smallest turbo.

Sweet

So how about St. Helens for our next drive, before all the tourists/campers start showing up? Maybe do a lap or 2?

The day after I get my transmission oil changed. :P

The roads aren't open yet. There was also a ton of damage last year that I forgot about... so I'll keep checking the website.

Sooo I was thinking how great it would be to get the Miata crew together and go to kart track at the pacific raceway's its only $35 dollars for the smaller ones that still go plenty fast for 15min sessions (I am broke and can't justify $125 per 30min sessions). I am 98% sure I am going this Friday after work around 7pm with my boss to warm up for our inner company race there in a few weeks. So who ever is down should come!

So let me get this strait. You can take a basically stock miata, throw on a race seat, a cage, some good wheels/tires/suspension and call it a spec miata race car, but because Ben's car lacks a 'race seat' it somehow comes up short even though it is built way beyond any spec miata?

Ben regularly participates in track days but nothing 'competitive' that I know of. He just ALSO happens to drive it on the street.

Would autocross count, some people would consider that a competition?

Anybody hear this guy?

Just wanted to vouch for the karting, it's mega fun. I went soon after they opened, it was great. My SM friend and I did 3 or 4 sessions, I forgot. Kicked the crap out of you, but then again the guy's daughter's (<18) were armorall'ing the steering wheels, and they had NO grip. The seats also dug into my kidney's, so if they offer seat pads, use them. Out door karting was much more violent than the indoor stuff I'm used to. Oh, and if you value your tailbone don't take the curbs. Remember, you don't have suspension.

Thank you. I was beginning to think they totally over looked it and wanted to talk about Ben's stock seats hahaha. I haven't tried this place yet but I use to drive my buddies shifter and it is serious fun. besides we all can get competitive and be on a somewhat even keel now and allow me to **** kick all of your ***'s let the trash talking begin . So who is all in?? let me know, my boss already backed out so if no one is game I wont even bother going solo.
